Website and Search Traffic Explained

There are three service types that get confused all the time. Buying the wrong one is the most common reason a campaign disappoints.

Direct traffic

No referrer, like the visitor typed your URL. Cheapest per thousand, and the easiest for an analytics-literate client to identify as artificial – a sudden spike in direct traffic with no corresponding brand activity is conspicuous. Good for measuring volumes. Bad for anything that will be audited.

Referral traffic

Visits from a particular source with a referrer header. More expensive. More likely to be in an analytics report. Configurable — you name the referring domain. What most resellers actually mean when they ask for "website traffic" is this.

Search traffic

Visits that come in via a search engine results page for a certain keyword. Most expensive, slowest to deliver, and most commonly misunderstood – see the next section before you buy it.

Geo and device targeting

All three types support country targeting across [35+] countries and device targeting (desktop, mobile, tablet). Geo-targeted traffic is usually [2–4×] more expensive than generic, with Tier-1 countries being at the highest end of that range as real residential IP inventory is scarce across the industry in those markets.

How Traffic Quality Is Measured

Traffic is one place you can test what you bought with tools you already have. After any test order, check these in your analytics:

• Bounce rate. Traffic sold as engaged should be well under 100%. If you see 98–100% bounce traffic, that's a hit counter, not a visitor.
• Session length. Sub-second sessions mean the request fired and nothing rendered. Look for services that specify a dwell-time range and stay within it.
• Pages per session. Anything over 1.0 requires the traffic source to actually navigate through the site. Many cheap sources can't.
• IP and ASN spread. If each visit resolves to two or three hosting ASNs, the traffic is datacentre-sourced, no matter what the listing says.
• Referrer correctness. For referral services, double check the referrer header is what you specified.

Run a smaller order and check these out before committing balance. This is standard advice for any traffic vendor, including us. The difference between a good traffic supplier and a bad one can be seen in analytics within an hour, so there is no reason to buy on trust.

What Traffic Services Will Not Do

This section costs us sales and we are including it anyway, because the alternative is refund disputes and resellers churning after one campaign.

Buying traffic will not improve your search rankings. The theory behind search traffic services is that click-through rate is a ranking signal, therefore generating clicks on your result will help your position. In practice, Google has repeatedly stated that raw CTR is not used as a direct ranking factor, and click-pattern manipulation has long been understood as a spam vector with detection specifically built for it. Sites that are subject to persistent CTR schemes are more likely to be penalised than rankings.

Traffic that is bought will not convert. None of this is driven by purchase intent. If a client is expecting sales, you will be blamed and the campaign will be a flop.

Bought traffic will not pass a serious analytics check. When an agency looks at a competitor's or acquisition target's traffic, they'll see the manufactured sessions in a blink. If someone is selling this to do due diligence, they are taking a big risk.

How to Order on Official Clicks

1. Register. Email registration with no documents required.
2. Add balance. Crypto credits on network confirmation. Other methods vary by region.
3. Choose the type of service first, not the price. Direct, referral, and search traffic are not the same. Before you compare rates, determine which one your campaign really needs.
4. Enter target URL and parameters. Complete URL including protocol. Referral services require the referring domain while search services require the keyword.
5. Set quantity and drip rate. Traffic services can allow you to stretch delivery over hours or days. Use it – 50,000 visits in ten minutes is the single most obvious artificial pattern you'll see in any analytics dashboard.
6. Analytics check-in. Check bounce rate, session duration and ASN spread as delivery starts, not at the end.

Two traffic order notes. The target URL must return 200 to an anonymous visitor — pages behind logins, geo-blocks or aggressive bot filtering will eat balance and return nothing. If your site uses Cloudflare Bot Fight Mode or similar, expect a meaningful share of delivery to be filtered out before it gets to analytics; whitelist or disable during the campaign window.

Official Clicks API and Child Panels

Official Clicks uses the API v2 of the standard SMM panel. An existing integration usually works with an endpoint URL and key change. The request format for add, status, services and balance is the one most panels implement. Traffic services can accept additional parameters for referrer, keyword and drip interval.

You can provision a child panel. You point a domain, the panel provisions it and your customers see your brand all the way through.
